Hi, I'm Princess Booker
I didn't stumble into children's books. I was called to them.
Growing up, my summers were spent in Nine Mile, Jamaica with my grandmother. Culture, music, identity, it was all around me. Those experiences never left me. They became the foundation of everything I create.
When I decided to write my first children's book, I had no roadmap. No one handed me a guide. I figured it out step by step, made the mistakes, found what worked and kept going.

Most of the authors in this course have no formal writing training, including me when I started.
